David Reif

Technical Sales Agronomist, Vive Crop Protection

David Reif joined Vive Crop Protection in February 2021 as the Northern Technical Sales Agronomist. Reif holds a B.S. Crop and Soil Sciences from Michigan State University. He comes to Vive from sales positions at Bayer CropScience and BASF. Reif has extensive experience working with sugarbeets, corn, soybeans, potatoes, and dry beans.

Blake Murnan

CHS Agronomy, Product Development Manager

Blake Murnan is currently the Product Development Manager for CHS Agronomy.  Blake started with CHS in March of 2019 when CHS acquired West Central.  In this role, Blake helps manage the development and implementation of the CHS Agronomy “Focus Products” which include seed treatments, micronutrients, and adjuvants.  He has developed products and services such as STI Customized and Ridgeline Seed Care, which has set CHS Agronomy apart from its competition. Before coming over to CHS,  Blake spent thirteen years with West Central and an additional fourteen years in the Cenex-Land O’Lakes cooperative system including roles as a local agronomist, national seed treatment account manager, and proprietary products technical support and marketer.  

Blake’s education includes a Bachelor of Agronomy – Iowa State University, and Master of Entomology – University of Nebraska. Blake resides in Bloomington, Minnesota where he is married and has two daughters.
