Foliar micronutrients are balanced blends of commonly deficient micronutrients that are applied by foliar, or sprayed, application onto food and fiber crops. When used alongside healthy agronomic practices, the essential micronutrients will supplement the overall nutritional needs of the plant, including photosynthesis, cell wall formation and hormone production.

Originally from a family farm by Velva, ND. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from NDSU where I specialized in weed science under Dr. Kirk Howatt. Previous experience: Field Research Assistant at Agrotech for 8 summers and Research Agronomist for Cibus canola for 1.5 years. Now I’ve been working for CHS Agronomy as Technical Specialist for the last two years.
Corey Klaphake received his B.S. In Crop and Weed Science from North Dakota State University in 2015, and since has worked for CHS Inc. He began working in CHS’s Product Development group as the company’s Product Registration Coordinator. During this role he was focused on the regulatory side of the business but, also became involved in research and development of new products. In October of 2016 Corey started his current role as a Technical Specialist and currently covers territories in Iowa and Illinois.
