Paula Halabicki joined the Technical Service Team with BASF US Crop in August 2017 as a Technical Market Manager for Plant Health Fungicides in Corn and Wheat.
Paula has a BSc in Agroecology and an MSc in Soil Science, focusing on herbicide phytotoxicity and persistence in Manitoba soils. Both degrees are from the University of Manitoba. Her work has been published in the Journal of Environmental Science and Health Part B (under the name “Picton”).
Paula is a Certified Crop Science Consultant, served on the Crop Life Canada ACT Committee, was a Western Director on the Canadian Society of Agronomy Executive, and a member of the Canadian Soil Science Society and the Canadian Weed Science Society. She was previously involved with the Prairies East Sustainable Agriculture Initiative and has volunteered for BASF’s KidsLab, Agriculture in the Classroom and Nutrients for Life.
