Using the Enlist weed control system which includes burndown, residual and post-emergence herbicides along with approved adjuvants can provide control of difficult weeds. Take this course to help customers make effective, agronomically sound decisions when it comes to weed management options including the Enlist weed control system and different types of adjuvants.

After successful completion of this course, you will be able to share with customers:

  • What adjuvants are and what they do
  • Types of adjuvants including surfactants, oils, water conditioners and soy-enhanced
  • How to tank mix adjuvants and herbicides
  • The benefits and timing of burndown, residual and post-emergence herbicides
  • How to control weeds using the Enlist weed control system

Matt Pauli is originally from southern Wisconsin where he grew up on a dairy farm. He received a B.S. in Crop and Soil Science for the University of Wisconsin Platteville in 1992. Later he attended NDSU for Weed Science. After college, Matt worked for Monsanto, screening herbicides and evaluating and marketing Roundup Ready crops including corn, soybeans, canola, sugarbeet, and wheat. Later, Matt became the regional agronomist supporting both Asgrow and Dekalb brands of corn, soybeans, and sunflowers.  In 2004, Matt became the seed manager for Triangle Agronomy in Lake Park, MN where he managed the coops seed business. In 2008, he became the regional agronomist for Pioneer Hi-Bred in Wisconsin where he was responsible for product evaluation, product lifecycle and performance inquiries. In 2014, Matt became a technical specialist for CHS Agronomy where he still is today.

Ryan Hageman is currently a Technical Specialist Manager with CHS Agronomy.  He services the states of South Dakota and SW Minnesota and manages a team that provides technical expertise to the western half of the US.  In Ryan’s 25 years of experience in the agricultural field, he has been with West Central and now CHS Agronomy for 12 years, first as an Account Manager, Technical Specialist, and currently a Technical Specialist Manager. Previously, Ryan utilized his Ag Business Degree as a District Sales Manager for Mustang Seeds for 2 ½ Years and an Agronomy Manager with Lake Preston Cooperative for 8 years.

Steve Snyder is an Enlist field specialist and serves as the in-field expert for the Enlist weed control system in the upper Midwest, including the Dakotas and Minnesota. His area includes a large number of soybean acres. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in crop protection with Dow AgroSciences and Corteva Agriscience. Snyder and other Enlist field specialists are experts in weed management, application technology and crop research.

Corteva Agriscience, Enlist Field Specialist

Josh Wilson is an Enlist® field specialist and serves as the in-field expert for the Enlist weed control system in South Texas. His area includes a large number of cotton acres on the Gulf Coast. He also has a wealth of experience in soybeans, corn and rice from his work in the Mid-South Delta region. Wilson and other Enlist field specialists are experts in weed management, application technology and crop research.
